
Imtiaz Patel, Founder
Imtiaz Patel is the Founder and CEO of Mindwell Associates. Imtiaz has spent his entire career helping companies in the media and retail industry create new concepts through an understanding of human behavior. Most recently he launched one of the most successful local news start-ups with a mission to make a difference in the lives of communities in Baltimore through their reporting. He is driven by making a positive impact which led him to launch Mindwell Associates. Originally from England, Imtiaz now lives in NY and enjoys biking, Liverpool FC and reading about what makes successful founders tick.
Corinne O’Connor
Corinne O’Connor is one of NYMHC’s Operations Associates, dedicated to making the patient and provider experience as seamless as possible. She supports our practice from behind the scenes, managing scheduling, handling insurance questions, processing records requests, coordinating preauthorizations, and resolving payment issues with care and efficiency.
With a strong background in medical administration and customer service, Corinne is known for her responsiveness, attention to detail, and commitment to helping clients get the care they need without unnecessary delays or obstacles. Whether assisting a patient with an insurance concern or ensuring a provider’s schedule runs smoothly, Corinne works to keep our operations running at their best—so our clinicians can focus on what matters most: patient care.


Shana Lunney
Shana brings a wealth of expertise in healthcare administration and practice management to our team, ensuring a seamless and patient-centered experience for everyone who walks through our doors. With advanced degrees in healthcare administration and psychology, Shana combines her passion for compassionate care with a deep understanding of efficient operations. Her leadership has transformed office environments, improved patient satisfaction, and ensured compliance with the highest industry standards. Shana’s dedication to streamlining processes and supporting providers allows our team to focus on delivering exceptional care. Her proficiency in healthcare systems, insurance verification, and revenue cycle management ensures that patients receive the support they need while providers can focus on what they do best. Shana’s commitment to excellence and her ability to foster a welcoming, efficient, and professional atmosphere make her an integral part of our mission to provide outstanding mental health services.
Julianne Gulmohamad
Julianne is an Intake Coordinator at NY Mental Health Center, where she helps patients navigate the process of starting care with our practice. She works closely with both patients and providers to coordinate intake calls, scheduling, insurance verification, cost estimates, and onboarding paperwork prior to the first appointment. Julianne also helps connect new patients with providers who are the best fit for their clinical needs and answers questions throughout the intake process to help ensure a smooth and supportive experience.
Julianne is currently pursuing a Master’s Degree in Social Work at SUNY Binghamton and plans to become a therapist in the near future.


Regina Bigord
Regina is an Operations Associate at NY Mental Health Center, where she helps ensure that both patients and providers receive timely, responsive, and organized support throughout the care process. She plays an important role in the day-to-day operations of the practice, assisting with scheduling, insurance-related questions, records requests, authorizations, billing concerns, and other administrative needs. Known for her attention to detail and patient-centered approach, Regina works behind the scenes to help create a smooth and positive experience for everyone who interacts with our practice.
Prior to joining NY Mental Health Center, Regina spent more than two decades in healthcare, including over ten years as an Office Manager for a busy specialty medical practice. Her experience spans practice operations, patient coordination, insurance and billing processes, electronic medical records management, staff supervision, and compliance with healthcare regulations. Regina also has a clinical background as a Medical Assistant and Practical Nurse, giving her a unique understanding of both patient care and healthcare administration. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration from Capella University, where she graduated with a 4.0 GPA.
